Orphanage Experiences

I don't know about other forum readers, but I am starting to get fed up with board members who post of their "touching" orphanage experiences here. I suspect the real beneficiaries are the posters themselves, who after donating some paltry amount, then revel in describing the experience and by inference, what wonderful people they are. They probably wine and dine out on these stories after returning home to their comfortable middle class lives in the west.

Before posting another orphanage experience story, may I humbly suggest 2 things?

Firstly, donate an amount that really hurts, like the cost of your next Bali holiday and spend your holidays instead back home working voluntarily for a charity or doante 1 months income and live on packet noodles and water for a month.

Secondly, don't tell a single soul what you did.
