What a truly bitter post. I find it hard to fathom how someone could write something like that.
People posting on an 'open forum' about their experiences donating gifts, clothes, food - whatever it may be to orphanages in Bali RAISES awareness to other forum members who may then go ahead and visit an orphanage themselves.
Every little bit DOES make a difference.
What a world we live in that someone would take the time to write a post like yours. I am really shocked.
I have been to orphanages in Bali and donating 'an amount that really hurts' isn't always the way to go. I would not have done that because you simply do not know where the money is going.
Donating necessities, food, clothes, toiletries, medical supplies is extremely important.
So forum members please keep on doing that and I for one do want to hear your stories.
