I truly am shocked at your post.
Every little thing DOES make a difference, no matter what it is, goods, food, treats that children would not usually get.
I am appalled that someone would even take the time to write a post like yours.
I have visited orphanages on many trips to Bali and I personally do not agree with "donating an amount that really hurts". The truth is like in any country you do not know where the money goes. I believe you are better off buying food and staples, or even furniture if you have a larger amount to give.
People posting their experiences of visiting orphanges on this forum may help others to make up their mind to do the same!!!
