Still safe to travel?

Hey guys, travelling to Bali on the 22.03.12 & am extremely worried about going with all the terrorism warnings that have been all over the news at the moment, although I know or the smart traveller websites ect it always has the 'reconsider your need to travel' at this stage I am really considering not going. This is also my first trip to bali and all this bad press is making me not look forward to it.
We are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel Kuta and was just wondering if anyone can give me tips or opinions on whether or not to still go or just take more caution?
I know at the end of the day it is my own choice.. But I am really confused and really fearful of going at this stage!
