Actually, I doubt that many here would read Indonesian newspapers - pretty hard to access for yer average tourist. I don't read them. While I agree with your post I do think expecting posters here to read Indonesian newspapers is a bit much. Know your audience.
But I take your point & agree that many tourists are stunned mullets when they discover that Bali is part of Indonesia, the most populous Islamic nation on the planet.
The religious persecution condoned & even encouraged by the Indonesian Government is abhorrent. People here might be alarmed to know that their tourist $$ are going to support persecution of minority religious groups, Christians in particular.
