I know how you feel. Been to Bali 25+ times but just realised will be there in Oct (10 year anniversary since tragedy!) with the kids. Planned to stay at HR also but now deciding to switch to a hotel further out of town. Did you book your own flights/hotel? Find out if you can alter dates/destination/hotel booking. If thru a Travel Agent sometimes you can switch destinations. Everyone has their own opinion- just do what believe is best for you. A holiday isn't a holiday if you will spend all your time worrying! Good Luck- I know you don't have a lot of time to decide!
