I know it is worring. We just returned on Sunday. Didnt feel at all worried while there. There is a presence of police ont he street which we now understand why. We were cautious where we were going and avoided place like Jimbaran bay and other area where there are always lots of westerners at once. This did not affect out trip at all. If you are concerned but still want to go try and change your hotel to an area less busy like Tanjong Benoa or Candi dasa??????
