Plenty of posts bemoaning the changes...

to the Bali of today compared to that of yesteryear.
However, there MUST be some things that are better today than then??
Improvements in hygiene, sewerage, medical services, standards of accommodation, transport options, quality restaurants, shopping choices,dog condition/numbers etc etc.
Even DPS airport is a better place to spend time waiting to depart than it used to be.
These things probably do not compensate for the demise or loss of some of the "rustic" attractions of years gone by, but surely the burgeoning growth in visitor numbers must be saying something??
