as with todays "young set" hangouts, these are very in your face, loud, bright and obvious (plenty of not so young to be found here too!!).
More mature people are generally inclined to gravitate towards less obvious places, like Mades, Poppies. Nusa Dua and Sanur.
Families gravitate to Waterbom, Safari Park, Elephant Park.....perhaps this diversification of concentration into just one demographic is further indication of a certain "maturity" these days about Bali.
There are many places described as "Bali 20 years ago" and easy to get to, but no one wants to spend more than a couple of days there.
