but the point is that it's not ALL downhill.
There are some positives, and let's face it, the surfer and backpack crowd of yore is vastly different to the E and I hungry of young brigades today.
These guys wouldn't recognise the attraction of a VW Kombi. fully fitted for action, nor neccessarily relish the challenge of trudging about with half a house on their back!!
Maybe todays Bali is better tuned to todays youngsters, where the Engine Room and Sky Bar are all that really matter??!!
This forum itself is testament to the ongoing magnetism.....and long may it continue...for whatever reason.
