Apologies for the previous post below but i am a new user on this forum.
Originally booked for 8 nights at the Adi dharma Cottages April 4-12.
We deserted this hotel after only 2 nights.
Management refused to deal with the disgusting behaviour of young Australian 'adults'(I use this term loosely)
One group contained 2 'girls' who, at 4 in the morning on both mornings when returning after the evening out, screamed, cried, created a furore and when a good samaritan intervened to offer assistance got the you 'f..... c......'
Security/Reception only had 1 entry in their book in regards to this-so where were security on the morning of April 6????
Another group, containing mostly young 'adult' men (I only ever saw 1 mature age woman who i expect would be a mother to some) boasting they were on their 4th block of beer. Of course the obligatory breakage of glass bottles poolside ensued.Other guests were too intimidated to use the pool when they were present.
THIS GROUP (11 OF THEM) CHECKOUT APRIL 13.
Management could not satiate my, or others, complaints into these matters-we checked out when they offered no guarantees.
If you are considering the Adi Dharma, or have a confirmed booking there, my advice: Do not stay there.
2 ladies in their 60's who were next to us, who checked out as planned, who had been staying at AD Cottages for 5 years advised they would never return.
Apart from the above, their is absolutely no privacy there.
The only rooms offering this would be the 2 rooms 'facing the brick wall'. 2 rooms have a garden view and are away from foot traffic-hence very popular. All other downstairs rooms all come off the tiny narrow path through the cottages.verandahs are very tiny and you are right on top of foot traffic.Very little protection on the verandahs from rain.
I booked this hotel last August, and when in bali last September attended the Cottages and was given one of those popular garden view rooms.Upon arrival???-no record of this!!!.We got the skankiest room possible-their are 2 of these-porch only has space for 2 chairs and not even enough more area for a small table.
Most hotels do not want to deal with anti social behaviour-do not want to buy into it.This hotel is one of those.
And they had the gall to surcharge us 1 nights accommodation for early termination (which is their right) but under these circumstances???
Our first 4 nights were in the ever wonderful Sativa hotel in sanur, first time at this hotel and what a ripper it was.
I am becoming a sanur convert but..... time shall tell.
