I have read all your responses. Call the police??
Well, this would be surely up to the hotel to do, not a guest.
The onus should go onto the hotel management so as to ensure the comfort of all the other guests.
Again-hotels do not want to get involved in behavioral problems and for them to call the police-and then that 'gets out'to the community?
This is indeed, in having been coming to Bali for over 30 years, the first time I have encountered this at a hotel. We see the drunken idiots all over the place-on bikes-in pubs-which we can walk away from. The idiots that are under scrutiny here would be the ones i walk past when (and it would happen) become involved in problems with others where they are challenged. They indulge in this type of behaviour outside the hotel, the local guys would take exception and they would be seen to. And for me to offer assistance when they need patching up? Nah...walk on by......whereas I would always help anyone in need. I'm just pleased that behaviour such as this does not abase the bali spirit in us, or in the Balinese, it just causes all nationalities to review their regard for the Aussies-and that would not be flattering. I put this whole issue down to the 'Kuta mentality'.The mentality of: Kuta/party/drinking/party/clubs/party etcc..... so for me, never again in Kuta as obviously that place has become an idiot magnet(no offence to any who still enjoy Kuta)
