I must share how slow and disappointed I am with Compusure travel insurance (Toursafe). I put in a claim back at the end of January and am still waiting now. When i ring they tell me they are waiting for a quote as they replace the goods with their suplier.
Back in the 80's when we travelled without the kids we NEVER took out travel insurance(granted our medical fund covered us back then for out of Australia)
I am curious as to whether people take out travel insurance or not? sorry to start this discussion but this incident has turned me off travel insurance, it is the 1st time ever i have had to make a claim (and I have used travel insurance in the 90's and 2000's.)
Thoughts and experiences appreciated.
