Sorry some of you took me the wrong way i never said I wasn't going to take out travel insurance I just said this experience (1st time claim) has turned me off, I was curious as to what others do and thought it would be a good discussion topic. No where did I say I wasn't going to take out travel insurance! I just said it has turned me off (feelings, not I wasn't going to take it out) and I was curious as to what everyone else does. I did get really really sick back in 1999 and doctors said I couldn't travel and I didn't even need travel insurance the travel industry was so good they postponed it all, so this is my 1st ever claim and hey i am so disappointed with them.
"I am curious as to whether people take out travel insurance or not? sorry to start this discussion but this incident has turned me off travel insurance, it is the 1st time ever i have had to make a claim (and I have used travel insurance in the 90's and 2000's.)
