We are Bali lovers from way back,our family has shared times of sadness,and times of great joy while there. Bali is part of us.and we will always,return to Bali.
This year i will be travelling with one of my daughters,and though we have talked of spending our holiday somewhere else beside Bali
there just isn't anywhere in the price range , or as lovely as this special island.
what i would like to do this year is have our holiday in Bali.Then continue on to Jakarta,
Looking up flights to Bali,there is an amazing deal going through till the end of the year,(or seats are sold) the flight includes having our holiday in Bali,then for only an additional $10 continue on to Jakarta,the cost being around $1ooo including tax .flights only
now here is the problem!not having travelled to Java or Jakarta previously,have no idea what to expect
if someone has been ,could u please let me know your thoughts on spending time there,places to see,hotels etc.my main concern being is it dangerous?this would be my daughters biggest worry,she is a member of this forum and most definitely will be reading this entry while she will be more than happy at the thought of going back to bali,at the same time be a little worried at the thought of going to Jakarta Any advice and help would be really appreciated Patricia
