Hiya,

When in Bali in 2002 we met this beautiful young balinese boy selling beaded jewellry at Warung 96. We purchased items from him and also gave him extra money we knew he was doing it tough. Our other friends when they left gave him a surfboard to sell so he could send money back to his family in their village this was only 2 weeks before the bomb. Charlie (Made) returned to his village and we could not find him last year. But fate does really play a part in our lives we were walking down Bensari street and there he was. He has no work something about not having liscense to sell. So we bought him lunch and gave him money to help he was sick and I had antibiotics so gave them to him as he could not afford to go to the doctor. Charlie sourced some silver jewellery for us so that also gave him some extra money. I felt so helpless saying goodbye to him who will help him I thought of sending money on a monthly basis but he really needs to work does anyone know how we could help him in a productive way. When we left he had bought us presents with money that was supposed to help him and his family there kindness never ceases to touch my heart. If anyone has any idead please let me know???

cheers
