I sent some stuff across in October of 1994 for my sister in laws baby. She still hasn't received it!
I also sent our daughter's kinder photo's as she was doing a drawing in one for my Mother in law & she has never received it, yet that would be useless to anyone else, sent it mid last year!
I have sent T-shirts & other things & they sporadically arrived...
Now I tell them I will only send with friends & family heading over. The family meet the friends or family at their Hotel to collect the gifts etc, or if the are close friends & my close family they make a day to go to visit the family & deliver gifts etc. NEVER send anything via post into Bali.
When I was living there a friend sent me a letter from Seattle, 4 years later it was returned to her...... She then sent it back to me in OZ & I opened it whilst on the phone to her & we laughed at all the stuff gone by since she sent it!!!!
