Inexcusable problem with Air Asia

I booked a flight with Air Asia, but inadvertantly made a keying mistake with my email address.

I need to change the departure date. Previously I could go to the AA site, go to 'Manage My Booking' and do whatever I needed to. Under the new regime this is a 'privelege' or AA members only. I must now logon using the email address that I used to make the booking, thats now impossible to do because I cannot register that email address with AA as its already used by someone else (bad luck there).

An alternative with any other airline in the world would be to contact them by phone or go to their office. Not AA though. Phone contact is a recorded message saying they are "busy", please call again later. Same messge for 3 days now!!!!

And, there is no office to go to!!!! Sent am email to customer support... no answer.

So we have an airline that will take your money, but there is no possible way to change your booking if you have made a simple keying error on your email address.

Thats the sort of oversite you might expect from a two bit carrier but one that is totally inexcusable from a an airline like AA.

This leaves me an extremely frustrated AA user.
