as I was not referring to flight duration capabilities for an A-320 but rather Air Asia's policy. I was Chairman of North Sulawesi Tourism Organisation when Air Asia implemented Manado/Kuala Lumpur services. At that time, there was a three-hour maximum duration to enable maximum fleet optimisation (and Manado just scraped-in). Air Asia's internal policy has obviously changed since then - only flights I do with them now are JKT/SIN and JKT/KUL so hadn't contemplated that. I was more referring to Adelaide's particular distance problems rather than a "policy technicality". There would be no way, as I stated, that Air Asia would contemplate DPS/ADL in its own right and yes...ADL/DPS is approximately 5.5 hours duration.
