I don't know on what criteria you base your sweeping statement, but I fly Air Asia regularly out of Jakarta and find them to be excellent. Admittedly I became a "member" which saves me huge amounts of time when making bookings as my personal information is there to be retrieved for each booking. The Website is easy to navigate (ever tried using Garuda's site?) and Web Check-in brilliant. For my last flight, I booked exactly 7 days prior and within 5 minutes of completing my reservation, I had printed my Itinerary, Insurance Document and the two Boarding Passes. If you need to communicate with them, there is a Live Chat facility on their website which saves the hassle of phone queues. Within two days of flying, I receive a feed-back request to my e-mail; I can assure you that if you take the time to complete this, comments are noted and where necessary, actioned. You need to be more specific and list your grievances (if you have any) and don't make crazy sweeping statements such as yours! From my experience - and it wouldn't keep winning multiple awards if it wasn't good - Air Asia is NOT - "a two bit carrier". Their track record speaks for itself.
