from a hotel either from the safe or from your bags in the room? I have been to Bali many many times with family and have had this happen more than once to one of our group. My question is : Is it becoming more prominent and what can we do to keep our stuff safe? As i posted earlier a family member had $300 stolen from his locked suitcase at the Melasti Beach Resort Legian this week and on another trip my son had money stolen from his in room safe at the Lokha and the management was kind enough to replace that money...no such courtesy from MELASTI management though!! on another trip my youngest son had left his mp3 on his bed and had it nicked at the Barong and that too was returned when a complaint was made and I was willing to report it to police. I spoke with another aussie at the cop shop and she had money stolen from her hotel safe as well.
