Buy $US now or stay with $AU???

The bank told me today $0.86ish to buy $1US.

Can't do the math. Daaahhhhh!

Going in mid October for 14 days.

On a $50AU budget per day.

Is it worth changing to $US(cash)or stay with $AU?

I understand that Aust Post is cheaper than the airport.
