Hi Everyone, This is my first post...and having only just discovered this forum I must say its a real bonus and I have enjoyed reading everyone's great info and stories.
Anyway, this as I say is my first post but it will not be my first time in Bali - I have been to Bali about 10 times but the last time as back in the early 1990's.
My husband and I are leaving Perth on the 1st Feb and we have booked to stay at the Mandira, but now having taken sometime to look back in the archives I am a little worried because it appears the rooms are rather small - one comment I just read said that you could hardly swing a cat..!
My husband has never been before and so I really want this trip to be special - we only going for a week this time and we have booked a deluxe cottage.
When I contacted the Mandira and booked they have said that there is no promises that we will get what we have booked for - if you know what I mean - even though I have sent them my credit card details to secure our booking.
I am not sure if any of you have been told this sort of thing, but I am not going to check in unless its what we ordered if that makes sense.
In summary they say yes we have that and then its not confirmed - really confusing.
Anyway, once again great forum and I have picked up many tips - this weekend I am going to make a list of all the great places to see, eat and shop at.
