- tourist areas of Kuta, Sanur etc, to anywhere on the island and be back at your hotel for a late dinner the same day. All you need is an early start (8 am) and not stop too long anywhere on the trip. We find this is an excellent way to scout out where we might want to stay for a longer period on a later trip.
S&S, on Legian beach, does not have either an upper or lower age limit. As long as you drink anything from chilled water to Arak Madu's you will be welcome although if you want anything stronger than Bintang you might have to take your own hard stuff and use their mixers. You'll meet all sorts of people there. I even met Eskimo Girl from Alaska on one trip and Smudge and his girls are bound to be there. If you come across a gargantuan and garrulous old Irishman who answers to the name of Peter you might want to change stools because he tells Bali stories till the stars come out and he'll make yopu late for breakfast the next day. ;-))
