Thanks everyone for your feedback / advice.
We are so looking forward to the trip and I am really keen to see how much Bali has chnaged over the years since my last visit in the early 90's.
I think also the other great advantage to going to bali is that its not far from Perth in 4 hours you can bascially be sititng at the bar!
People who live in Perth will know what I mean when you have a limited time like a week its always a case of having to spend 2 days of that week travelling to get anywhere - We had considered Thailand and even though we have been there to - for a week its just that bit further.
So roll on Bali!!
What has really interested me in reading all the posts is how much people are now travelling further a field from the Kuta and Legian areas. We only have a week this time but hubby and I are now thinking that this would be great to do next time and spend more time over there.
I have not flown with Garuda before...so umm...I am a little worried about that...ha ha
We got great tickets through expedia.com.au $762 each return...we thought that was reasonable considering we only booked just under two weeks ago.
Anyway guys once again thanks heaps and who know's might see some of you there -
Oh one other thing - Andrew [hubby] and I are in our 40's and this bar that is on the beach umm S&S ? or something does it cater for our age or is it for the younger ones?
