Thought this was hilarious. We are regulars to Bali but my daughter is just back having taken here girlfriend (a first time international traveller). They had a short stop-over in Darwin, when going through customs clearance Miss New is asked by an Asian customs lady for "pat down". Miss New thought she said "bend down", so Miss New steps forward and bends over. My daughter has tears rolling down here face from laughter.
Um!! I wonder what sort of check she thought she was in for!!!
Again while walking along the street in Legian they are offered "traspooort", again Miss New in a bewildered way asked my daughter if she heard what he said to her. She thought he said "don't squat".

I think we all have one of these funny stories to share.
