Just recently a newbie mate was desperate to get some rupiah changed after bumming off us for awhile. As we were riding scooters down the road looking for a money changer he yells out he had found one we just passed so he rides the wrong way on the main road back to a police box that has authorised money changer on it. To our horror he walks in and about ten minutes later he walks out with some rupiah. After some questioning they changed his money and then fined him 250000rp for riding illegally up the street. Another moment where instead of support from your friends they are rolling on the ground laughing.
