Heading to Bali last year with the wife and kids and really needed a break. After going through the scanner at Melb Airport, then on the way to customs (I think) we walked into an elevator and I stood there and waited, my wife and kids asked what I was doing and I said "looking for the buttons" then I realised they were already on the other side of the "elevator". I quickly worked out my mistake and have never lived it down, it was actually just a room that I think looked very much like an elevator on the way through. I'm sure everyone else around us was laughing too was I was sinking into the floor!!!
