prices ex Sydney for early September

Hi all, have just received prices for a 2 week stay in bali in the first 2 weeks of september from reliable travel agents (recommended on the forum) and I must say prices seem to have increased by about $500-600 in our case.

14 nights accommodation staying MBR old suite room 2 ad and 2 kids package garuda $5116 and the other quote being $5169.

last years trip for same amount of nights but in mid January was $4470. Has anyone got any similar prices or would the difference be in the fuel levies perhaps????

Seems a big jump from last years prices. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
