on this one with absolutely no offense meant to the Javanese. We were there last year during Ramadan as well and to be honest it was bedlam. The streets are jam packed with vehicles and it became nearly impossible to take a walk around the Legian area because of all the fumes that were coming from the vehicles that were caught in the traffic jams. To catch a cab to Kuta for eg sometimes took up to an hour from Legian due to the traffic congestions. It was much quicker to walk ! I decided then and there that I would never go back to Bali during Ramadan for that and some other reasons
