Single Female Traveller

Ok heading to Bali Friday, I will be there for 2 weeks. I am going by myself, a late twenties female. Is it fairly safe for women? I will be in Kuta, Ubud, and possibly north a bit or the east coast. I imagine it should be fine. But was wondering if anyone females on here have travelled alone and have any advice.

Also, is it easy to meet other fellow travellers? I would like to meet up with people to split up on possible sharing a car all day or something.

Any input?
