that excellent teachers will finally have had enough, will realise they can make more up North and do just that. Then your children and mine will not have the opportunity of an education.Teaching is low paid and very hard to find staff for schools from areas where Mum shoots up, Mum or Dad are both in prison, child is in care anyway with the 4th or 5th foster family and the kids brother just went to reform for stabbing the teacher.

I can tell you right now that I would not want to teach these days, I would go and work in the mine though, situations like the recent one are few in Australia. When I was a kid in the UK the siren would sound and we all knew the mine had caved :(
I have friends who are miners and friends who are teachers. All jobs have a rough edge.

I am so glad I don't need to beg in Kuta square and that because of a teacher I can write this to you and that I thank miners for my political convictions.
