refund AP

Hi

My friend paid for her Air Paradise tickets with her Westpac Gold Mastercard, then we all know AP went belly up.

My question is
Did any forumites pay for their AP tickets by their Westpac Gold Matercard, and were they or have they been able to receive a refund?

It is just that my other friend paid for hers on her Commonwealth Mastercard and got a full refund for services not provided.

Westpac are saying that they dont cover for services not provided. Any advice would be appreciated it is just that my friend in a sole parent and was trying to take her children back to Bali to see their Balinese father who they havent seen for four years.
