I paid by Westpac card for Air Paradise, we were to leave November 25. I have an Visa altitude card which is linked to an AMEX card (Both Westpac). I have since recieved a refund for the air component, as I still travelled with AA so I used the land content.
The answers that I got each time a rang up Westpac varied. But the end result was, I needed a letter from the Wholesaler saying that they would not give me a refund and the reason why, this was then sent in with the form and I have received my refund, as they do pay out for services paid for, but not received.
I know it's not really fair to the wholesalers, but like many have said, we work hard to save for our holidays.
