my dad had to ring and ring. They even gave him a name to speak to when he rang back and when he did the person did not exist. Took a lot of persistence with westpac, but finally just today got the money back (only claimed for air fares as well, used the accomodation) from a trip that was supposed to happen in January.
Be persistant, and it will pay off.
