For $500 a night, you would expect it to be reasonably clean & free from rodents.

One thing is to see "ten mosquitoes and five frogs" but another thing to have rats swimming with your kids in the pool.

I sympathise with you Esuh, I would be pretty peed off too if I got that reply from the management of a $500 a night Villa.

Makes you wonder how his indonesian counterpart was going to sort it out with you? How scary!
