I'm as guilty as alot of you when it comes down to how we evaluate who gets our money when we are in Bali. Some Balinese people just dont have a clue when it comes to salesmanship (make that most) but us westerners have this built in resistance to dealing with harassing merchants & in Bali we really need to drop that side of our psyche & realise that these are all Third World people that are doing it hard & dont have a clue about selling finesse. So dont be rude to any of them & shell out a dollar more here & there, it's peanuts to you really but it's enough to put a meal on the family table for them.
