we always usually make sure it's a fair price for both parties. If they think you are not being fair they will let you walk away from the sale. And it's not nice to be rude to hawkers, after all they are just trying to make their living. A smile and no thank you is the best way. Hopefully with more people visiting Bali now things will improve for them.
