with 95% of what you say, how would you "fend off" the aggressive hawkers at Kintamani? It was my experience that they were extremely offensive, and, in my situation, a no thank you seemed to invite even more bad behaviour.I know this is an isolated incident, and we have all been there, but they could really overwhelm young kids.
