trying I now can recognize quite a few words ( embarrassingly not as much as I would like, but I AM trying very hard to learn), I was fairly shocked by how many insults I overheard, at tourists. I also have to admit just how embarrased I have been by some tourists' behaviour. There are times when you really feel that you ought to apologize for them.
