Yes, just announced, as of 1st Jan 2016, you will only be allowed (at the moment - these things can change over night here) 2 VOA entries or 1 Social Visa entry.
So those that like to come here 3+ times a year will need to start thinking about a business visa (allows 7 visits per year), or go all out and get a KITAS ... all options are $$$.

I am starting to wonder if they actually want people to keep coming here, or if they are wanting to push people towards other places to spend there holiday (and money) - would seem odd, but that's what they will end up doing.
I scratch my head about this ... just silly ... but as it was just announced (with just 2 months before it kicks in), I wonder if the outcry will make the Indo Gov rethink it.
They say it is to try and cut back on illegal working here, but it just makes it harder for the people that are doing the right thing - that are wanting to come often, or have businesses here ... this is just going to be a pain (for us and other long stayers) that will now have to get a business visa, but have to fly out every 2 months - pain pain pain !!! - or get a KITAS - all adds up ($$$).
At the moment, we get Social Visa's each time - gives us up to 6 months (which works for us), still one small pain having to do one trip to Renon to get photo and fingerprints (at 2 months), with just paid re-news for each extra month we need, but this is (was) just the easiest thing to do for us, and MANY others.
Will see if they re-think it over the coming weeks when there are MANY squeals in their ears !!!
