Social visa is to visit family etc not to live there or conduct business whilst there on a social visa.
Of course it's designed to make it more difficult and costly..that's the point.
If you want to live there - get the appropriate visa
If you do business there - get the appropriate visa
Conducting business in Indonesia is not supposed to be about the foreigner and making it easier profitable for them.
This is about a cleaning up process of foreigners/expats who are using the wrong visa to work there, conduct business or live there
