What a shame that Bali will probably suffer because of another Money Grab fro Jakarta. The tourist authorities blow all this hot air about making Bali a preferred Tourist destination in Asia and then mindlesly raise the VOA.
It would not be so bad if the VOA charge benefited Bali and stayed in Bali to assist with such things as infastructure etc, but as we know it doesn't.
$10 doesn't sound like a lot but for a family of 6 it is over $200 straight up. So as to whether this dissuades people from Bali in favour of most of the other Asian destinations that don't have Visa charges, or just means that they reduce their spending in Bali, either way Bali looses again.
