Car renting - parking etc ?

We (3) are travelling to Bali - first time, in May.
As we want to see the whole of the island we will rent a car online before hand and pick up at airport on arrival.
A bit nervous of finding our way to hotel at Legian - and the parking situation in Denpasar and the towns.
Any tips will be appreciated - Thanks :)
