After 10 years away from Bali we are seriously considering a return visit. But now we have kids! 7 and 2 years. So, the things that worry me are:
1) Terrorism - of course. Do we let this influence our holiday choice or is the risk, in fact, less than every time I put the kids in my car???
2) Bali Belly. My daughter gets gastro if you just say the word! She has had an episode every year of her life and been in Emergency 4 times. My son is 2 - how to explain to a 2yo that he must keep his mouth closed in the shower? Does the pool become his only bathing experience for the 7 days?!
3) See 1). !! It is 10 years since, after all.
Next, we are keen to hear any family friendly hotel recommendations (wasn't on our radar last time!!). We are currently looking at the Ramada Bintang - 7 nights for just under $1,200. Is this good value? Is the hotel well situated for Jl Legian and WaterBom Park? We won't be taking a stroller for the 2yo!!
