I just returned from Bali with a 14 month old baby .... no problems at all.
1) Don't let this influence your holiday. It is not a problem and we were there when the latest incident happened and saw no signs of unrest
2) Take precautions - always use bottled water and put milton tablets in the bath tub. Wash bottles or cups in bottle water. This worked really well!
