TID - no pay out

A couple of weeks ago I reported how my wife's iPhone was stolen from a taxi. Anyway, just to follow up, Travel Insurance Direct have elected not to pay our claim because the bag was left unattended (by us) for a short time while we left the bag in the taxi to duck into a shop. Not happy at all, should have known better as TID have refused our claims before for equally poor excuses.
