Hi! Looking at travelling to Bali in June 2012 with 3 friends (we are all female, in our mid 40's). We had originally booked accomodation in Legian, but with the recent terrorism dramas in Kuta, now feeling a bit 'iffy' about it all. Have thought about staying in either Sanur or Nusa Dua instead, Novotel Nusa Dua or Griya Santrian Sanur. Can anyone tell me is there much outside of these hotels? I want to be able to walk out of the hotel, come across markets, restaurants etc. This will be my 8th trip to Bali, and i've always stayed in Legian, so looking forward to a change as well. Any recommendations?
