Melb-Denp Air A via K/L info

Looking for info on the melb to Denpasar flight via K/L. Can anyone tell me if you are a transit passenger in K/L or how this flight works.
If not transiting in K/L i'm guessing one may have to pay for a visa & then departure tax.
Appreciate any info from Forumites regarding this, Thankyou in advance.
Have searched the Forum but cannot get much info that way.
