Paid by Visa. Not sure if it includes travel insurance tho.
My (now elderly) father was fostered out during the war & ended up being brought up by his foster family. I'd be supporting him to visit a sick foster relative who has been given 18mths. I doubt the insurance would stretch to these circumstances.
I've checked Singapore Airlines. It looks like I could fly Bali-Manchester return via Singapore for a reasonable price. So I could do something like:
Melbourne-Bali(stopover 1 week)-Singapore-Machester(stopover 1 month)-Singapore-Bali(stopover 1 week)-Melbourne
This would be Mel-Bali-Mel on Virgin with Bali-Manchester-Bali on Singapore Airlines thrown in the middle.
Any other suggestions welcome.
